Roger Walton BEd (Hons) MA (Dist) LRPS
After
a successful career teaching science in secondary schools in the City
of York, Roger changed track to further pursue his interest in training
adults in the use of IT.
Initially the focus was on helping science teachers develop their own
IT skills. As this project came to end, Roger broadened his scope
to the provision of tuition in IT skills in general and digital
photography in particular.
Equally at home with both the technical and artistic side of
photography, he offers a variety of technical lectures for photographic
societies as well as more general photographic shows, including digital
audio-visual presentations.
When not busy teaching or taking photographs, Roger enjoys fell walking
and music. A committed Christian, he has sung in the local
church choir for over fifty years and regularly takes part in choral performances in the York area.
